Music
Music has always played an important role in my life. One of my favourite
artists is Dan Fogelberg. On this page you can listen to two clips of songs
composed by Dan Fogelberg, sung by Roy Bocken (fellow student at the teacher's
academy) and me. Roy also played piano. These are not professional recordings.
You'll hear two young guys who just enjoyed making music together in their spare
time. The songs were recorded in 1981 and 1982 in the living room of my guitar
teacher (Bert Bessems,
former member of Partner and
now member of René Innemee & The Revival Band
and Fandango),
using a 4-track PortaStudio.
I have added these clips to my site also to commemorate Dan and Roy. Roy, who sadly died much too young in 1998.
Dan, who died on 12/16/2007 of cancer, 56 years of age.
